Christian Heritage Academy received a tough blow as they fell 66-47 to Westover Christian Academy. Christian Heritage Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Christian Heritage Academy still got an impressive performance from Nick Arrington, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. Caleb Young was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Even though they lost, Christian Heritage Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Westover Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Hill out in front who went 6 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 38 points and 3 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hill has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachai Waller, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 18 rebounds.
Christian Heritage Academy dropped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Westover Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Heritage Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Dayspring Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Dayspring Christian Academy is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Westover Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Christian Heritage Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
