Lillian Youakim also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cannon, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Providence Day last Monday.
The win didn't come easy: Providence Day scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 18-25, 25-21, 25-22.
Charlotte Country Day School better focus on containing Emmi Coppa and Reagan Pinkerton as the pair were huge in Cannon's win. Coppa had 15 digs and two aces, while Pinkerton had seven digs, six aces, and two blocks. That's the most blocks Pinkerton has posted over her last seven matchups.
Cannon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in ten consecutive contests.
