Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madison). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Liberty Tech Magnet Crusaders a 26-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Garrett Pickens and Nicolas Udovich made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Pickens tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
