Magruder won the last time they faced Northwood, and things went their way on Friday, too. Everything came up roses for Magruder against Northwood as the team secured a 42-6 win. The win was a breath of fresh air for Magruder as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Magruder got off to a slow start in their contest last week, but they had no such trouble against Northwood and cruised to a 22-point first half. Northwood countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 22-6 going into the half. The Magruder defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the match. The victory bumped Magruder's record up to 1-4. The defeat dropped Northwood's record to 1-5.
Next week Magruder take on Seneca Valley at 7:00 PM. As for Northwood, they will face off against Bladensburg.
