The Crescent Loggers posted their biggest victory since December 18, 2023 on Monday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 50-22 victory over Oakville. Crescent has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 28 points or more this season.
Despite the loss, Oakville still got an impressive performance from Alyssa Forsythe, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and two steals. Forsythe is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Andrea Mendez was another key contributor, scoring four points along with three steals.
Crescent's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Oakville, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
Crescent will be playing at home against Neah Bay at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Neah Bay knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Crescent likes a good challenge. As for Oakville, they will head out on the road to square off against Washington School for the Deaf at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
