The Orme Warriors will be playing at home against the Trinity Christian Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Winning is just a little bit easier when you make five more threes than your opponent, a fact Orme proved on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-41 victory over Verde Valley.
Orme relied on the efforts of Preston Tisi, who scored 13 points along with four steals, and Bartek Kreglewski, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Kreglewski has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played.
Meanwhile, Trinity Christian entered their tilt with the Warriors with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Trinity Christian enjoyed a cozy 52-33 win over the Warriors on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given Trinity Christian's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Warriors are ranked 20th).
Orme is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Trinity Christian, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5.
Orme was taken down by the Warriors 69-38 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Will Orme have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
