The Lutheran North Mustangs lost against the Loyola Bull Dogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Lutheran North lost to Loyola on the road by a decisive 65-46 margin.
Despite the loss, Lutheran North still got an impressive performance from Joshua Brown, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and five blocks. Another player making a difference was Brayden Monroe, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Lutheran North now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Loyola, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.
Lutheran North will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenhills at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Greenhills presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lutheran North in Michigan (Greenhills is ranked 164th, while Lutheran North is ranked 341st). As for Loyola, they will square off against Varsity Opponent at TBD on Saturday.
