Brooks Brien produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Cherokee Bluff to the win on Friday. Brien threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
The win for Cherokee Bluff keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Brien's next contest is against Monroe Area on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Cherokee Bluff picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kaden (Kt) Thompson. Thompson turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 134 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in a rushing score.
On the season, Thompson has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 96.7 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 2.17 receiving yards per game.
