While losing is never fun, the Wolfpack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1082nd, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 228th).

KIPP San Jose Collegiate's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Latino College Preparatory Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0-2.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against KIPP Navigate College Prep on the 31st. As for Latino College Preparatory Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against ACE Charter on the 3rd.
