They suffered a rough 41-21 loss at the hands of Harding Academy. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Westminster Academy in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost five in a row.
Harding Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabi Ruvalcaba, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Emory Miller, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Westminster Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Harding Academy, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westminster Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Harding Academy, they will take on the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
