Westminster Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 57-35 walloping at the hands of Lanier Christian Academy.
Meanwhile, Victory Baptist came up short against Old Suwanee Christian last Tuesday and fell 39-27. While losing is never fun, Victory Baptist can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while Old Suwanee Christian is ranked 180th).
Westminster Christian Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Victory Baptist, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Everything came up roses for Westminster Christian Academy against Victory Baptist in their previous matchup back in November of 2021 as the squad secured a 50-21 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Westminster Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
