After having lost a blowout in their previous game against General McLane, The Fairview Tigers were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 28-14 victory over North East. The win was all the more spectacular given Fairview's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 421st, while North East is ranked 161st).
Vincent Campoli was a one-man wrecking crew for Fairview as he rushed for 174 yards and three touchdowns. Jacob Harkness got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Fairview is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. As for North East, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairview will square off against Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North East, they will head out on the road to face off against Reynolds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
