Golden has gone a perfect 10-0 against Littleton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Demons will challenge the Lions at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Golden has six straight victories, Littleton has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Golden's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Standley Lake with a sharp 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Demons, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Golden got a great performance from Sawyer Brinkman as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Brinkman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jaydon Stroup, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Liam Leffert, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Golden always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Standley Lake only posted an OBP of .000.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Littleton duked it out with Pomona on Tuesday. The Lions fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1.
Littleton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Jacobs, who went 1-for-3 with one run.
Golden pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Littleton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
Littleton's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Golden hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .333. It's a different story for Littleton, though, as they've only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Golden's hitters?
Everything went Golden's way against Littleton when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Golden made off with a 14-0 victory. Will the Demons repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
