Aubrey Becker put in work no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and 11 unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Kalyn Cooper made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Braynija Pool was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
Meanwhile, Burton came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 4-0 win.
