It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Beddingfield Bruins can now relate to. They took a serious blow against Clinton on Friday, falling 56-15. Beddingfield has not had much luck with Clinton recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Beddingfield's loss came despite strong showings from Craig Barnes and Taevon Edwards. Barnes rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown, while Edwards picked up 46 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Beddingfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Clinton, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Beddingfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clinton will play host again and welcome Southeast Alamance, where kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast Alamance is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
