 Meanwhile, Notre Dame can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game  on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by  a  20-6 margin over Dryden. Notre Dame's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Notre Dame, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-3.
 Edison came out on top in a nail-biter against Notre Dame  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023, sneaking past  2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Edison since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
