The Woodland Hills Wolverines lost against the Fox Chapel Foxes back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Woodland Hills lost to Fox Chapel at home by a decisive 60-41 margin.
Will Siegel was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds for Fox Chapel. The team also got some help courtesy of Jefferson Moorefield-Brown, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Woodland Hills' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-12. As for Fox Chapel, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-9.
Woodland Hills will head out on the road to challenge Penn Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodland Hills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Penn Hills is ranked 74th). As for Fox Chapel, they will be playing at home against Shaler Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shaler Area is coming into the contest with four straight defeats on the road, meaning Fox Chapel will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
