Softball Recap: Central Dauphin Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Central Dauphin came out on top against Altoona on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Rams put the hurt on the Mountain Lions with a sharp 14-3 win. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Central Dauphin's seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-1. As for Altoona, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Dauphin will venture away from home to face off against Lower Dauphin at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Altoona, they will head out to square off against Hollidaysburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mountain Lions are facing the Golden Tigers at the right time seeing as the Golden Tigers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
