While St. John's win against Cooper wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mavericks skirted past the Dragons 2-1. The Mavericks haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The win got St. John's back to even at 9-9. As for Cooper, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12-2.
