The Anderson Raptors will head out to face off against the Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anderson will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Anderson came out on top against Walnut Hills on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Raptors took their game against the Eagles 7-4. Seven seems to be a good number for the Raptors as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Anderson got a great performance from Connor Fecher as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over 5.1 innings pitched. Fecher has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nick Rosiello, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one RBI. Anderson is undefeated when Rosiello posts two or more runs, but 4-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Carson Glen, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Madeira ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Reading 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won three in a row.
Carson Shafer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Shafer was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Shafer wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Sammy McClain, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Anderson's record is now 9-7. As for Madeira, their record now sits at 15-5.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Anderson has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .446. However, it's not like Madeira struggles in that department as they've averaged .433. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
