Baseball Recap: East Jackson's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

After low-scoring totals in their previous five contest, East Jackson brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They blew past the Camden-Frontier Redskins 12-2 on Monday. The Trojans not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 17, 2024 (when they won 20-6).

Alex Crandall was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. Those hits marked the first that he has got this season. Another player making a difference was Chris Holloway, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

East Jackson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory snapped East Jackson's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-5 record. As for Camden-Frontier, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
