The Obama Academy of International Studies Eagles will head out to challenge the Quaker Valley Quakers at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Obama Academy of International Studies is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
Obama Academy of International Studies had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 21-run drubbing they dealt Perry Traditional Academy on Friday. The Eagles blew past the Commodores 21-0. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

Obama Academy of International Studies always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .697. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Perry Traditional Academy only posted an OBP of .000.
Meanwhile, Quaker Valley hadn't done well against Moon Area recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Quakers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Quakers have posted since March 27th.
Ryan Finamore was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Henry Zupanc was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Obama Academy of International Studies has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .480. However, it's not like Quaker Valley struggles in that department as they've averaged .446. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Obama Academy of International Studies came out on top in a nail-biter against Quaker Valley in their previous meeting back in April of 2019, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
