Becton came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Dwight-Englewood Bulldogs as they made off with an 11-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Becton's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Dwight-Englewood, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Becton will welcome Wood-Ridge at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dwight-Englewood, they will be playing at home against Ridgewood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Maroons' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
