They took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Legacy Christian Academy on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Southeastern Local of the 51-46 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2022.
Legacy Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ali Solomon, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Stanley, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Southeastern Local's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 18-3.
Southeastern Local will be playing in front of their home fans against Jonathan Alder at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Southeastern Local is coming into the match with three straight losses at home, meaning Jonathan Alder will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they will take on New Miami at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Legacy Christian Academy is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than New Miami in Ohio (Legacy Christian Academy is ranked 197th, while New Miami is ranked 779th).
