Sound Christian put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 58-36 margin over the Grace Academy Eagles. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 51.4 points per game.

Sound Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaila Brogan out in front who went 9 of 20 en route to 21 points along with six boards and four steals. The dominant performance gave Brogan a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Mesler, who posted 17 points along with eight steals and five assists.

Sound Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive boards. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Sound Christian's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26 points. As for Grace Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sound Christian will square off against Pope John Paul II at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Sound Christian's defense has only allowed 28.4 points per game this season, so Pope John Paul II's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Grace Academy, they will take on Shoreline Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
