Johnson Creek had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came out on top against the Milwaukee Juneau Pioneers by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Johnson Creek was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-8.

Cecilia Micale paced Johnson Creek's offense, picking up five kills. Micale got some help from Olivia Frey and her 12 assists. Paige Swanson controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Johnson Creek's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Milwaukee Juneau, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Johnson Creek and Milwaukee Juneau will both be playing Shorewood the next time they take the court. The Pioneers will head out to face the Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bluejays will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
