The Renton Red Hawks and the Foster Bulldogs squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but sadly the Renton Red Hawks had to settle for second. The matchup between them and the Bulldogs wasn't particularly close, with the Red Hawks falling 63-45. Renton has not had much luck with Foster recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Leading Foster to victory were Mia Pittman and Ariyana Deloney. Pittman scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Deloney scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Pittman is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Monaea Allen, who scored 12 points.
Renton's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Foster, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5.
Renton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Foster, they will take on Sammamish at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sammamish will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Foster surely won't give up without a fight.
