The BigTyme Prep Academy Bears couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a serious blow against Legion Preparatory Academy on Thursday, falling 87-18. BigTyme Prep Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-9.
Kendi Glover went supernova for Legion Preparatory Academy, scoring 24 points. Mari Dangerfield was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
The win (which was Legion Preparatory Academy's eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.
BigTyme Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Legion Preparatory Academy, they will be playing at home against R.W. Goines Stem Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Legion Preparatory Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven contests -- so hopefully R.W. Goines Stem Academy likes a good challenge.
