After flying high against the Northside Patriots last Friday, the McIntosh Chiefs came back down to earth. McIntosh fell 68-57 to Northgate on Friday. McIntosh was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Northgate apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played on January 5th.
Despite the loss, McIntosh still got an impressive performance from Adan Dollens, who scored 17 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Landon Dolhancyk was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
McIntosh's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Northgate, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
McIntosh won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Starr's Mill at 3:30 p.m. on January 27th. As for Northgate, they will head out on the road to square off against Northside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northside will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 439th, while Northgate is ranked 141st).
