The Fallston Cougars''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Patterson Mill by a score of 30-28. Fallston lost against Patterson Mill in their previous head to head back in September of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 27-3 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Fallston lost, one person who can't be blamed is Evan Alcide. Despite the final result, he rushed for 58 yards and three touchdowns.
Fallston's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Patterson Mill, their win was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-1.
Fallston will take on Bohemia Manor at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maryland (Bohemia Manor is ranked 156th, while Fallston is ranked 139th). As for Patterson Mill, they will head out on the road to face off against Aberdeen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
