The Monroe Cheesemakers will be taking part in a tournament against the Big Foot Chiefs  at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  contest.

Meanwhile, Big Foot didn't have quite enough to beat Evansville on Thursday and fell  3-2. While the Chiefs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Blue Devils  25-17 in the first  set.
 Big Foot actually scored more points across those five sets (110-104), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 27-25, 19-25, 25-21,  16-14.
 Big Foot's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
 Monroe suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to Big Foot  when the teams last played  back in October of 2015. Can the Cheesemakers avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
