Panguitch has won 14 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Milford has won 14 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Panguitch Bobcats challenge the Milford Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Panguitch knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Milford likes a good challenge.
Last Thursday, Panguitch earned a 59-49 win over Valley.

11/21/24 @ Millard | 12 |

12/07/24 @ Emery | 9 |
12/17/24 vs San Juan | 9 |
Panguitch's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Remme Chappell, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Chappell a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Daxton Miller, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Milford unfortunately witnessed the end of their 14-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 65-54 to North Sevier.
Panguitch will need focus on slowing down Kielen Tsosie, one of several Milford players who made an impact when they last played. He dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards. Tsosie is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Barnes, who posted 16 points.
Even though they lost, Milford smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.
Milford's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-2. As for Panguitch, their victory bumped their record up to 16-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Panguitch has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.1 boards per game. However, it's not like Milford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.4 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for Panguitch against Milford in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 77-38 win. Does Panguitch have another victory up their sleeve, or will Milford turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
