After flying high against the Sparta Bulldogs last Thursday, the Okawville Rockets came back down to earth. Okawville was outmatched by the Raiders on the road and fell 52-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Okawville has scored all season.
Okawville's loss on Saturday came despite strong showings from Madisyn Wienstroer and Raelyn Obermeier. Wienstroer scored seven points, while Obermeier scored six points.
Okawville has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-10 record this season. As for Quincy Notre Dame, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-4.
Okawville will head out on the road to face off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Breese Central will be looking to keep their ten-game home win streak alive. Quincy Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
