Semaj Stewart and Jordan Kelso were among the main playmakers for Sultan as the former went 8-for-14 to rack up 22 points along with seven boards and five steals and the latter shot 71% from the field en route to 11 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Joey Ellis, who shot 56% from the field on his way to 11 points and seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cascade strolled past Waterville with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 50-33.
Cascade now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Sultan, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4.
Everything came up roses for Sultan against Cascade in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 66-29 win.
