Medina/Pingree-Buchanan's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 40-31 to Oakes. Medina/Pingree-Buchanan was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Oakes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.
Oakes' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kassidy Jackson, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Brianna Schmitz, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals.
Medina/Pingree-Buchanan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Oakes, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
