TNiyah Wilson-Smith went supernova for Bellevue East, scoring 37 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Wilson-Smith has scored at least 25% of Bellevue East's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Weber, who scored 11 points along with 4 steals.
Gretna's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bellevue East, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Gretna's road trip will continue as they head out to face Omaha Westside at 5:30 p.m. on December 8th. Hopefully Omaha Westside focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Saturday. As for Bellevue East, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
