Altha won against Bethlehem last Monday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Altha Wildcats never let the Malone Tigers get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. Considering the Wildcats have won eight games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Griffin Pickron made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Riley Rowe, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Austyn Poole, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and one stolen base.

Altha lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Malone didn't launched any home runs.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Altha, bringing their record for this year to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Malone, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Altha will square off against Rocky Bayou Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Altha's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last seven contests. As for Malone, they will take on Ponce De Leon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Malone is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
