It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Northwest Christian Crusaders had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They never let the Eagles onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. Winning may never get old, but Northwest Christian sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Their one-goal win came courtesy of
Malachi Huisman, who's now up to 27 this season.
Northwest Christian pushed their record up to 14-2-1 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those eight games. As for NFL Yet Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2-3.
Northwest Christian's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Thatcher at 2:00 p.m. on February 10th. Northwest Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season. NFL Yet Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
