Softball Recap: Morrison Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Morrison barely beat Amboy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs never let the Clippers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won five matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Elle Milnes was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiyah Wolber, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Morrison is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Amboy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8-1.

Coming up, Morrison will host Eastland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amboy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 defeat against Lena-Winslow on the 19th.
