The Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles suffered their biggest defeat since November 28, 2023 on Friday. Their rough 73-50 defeat to Sale Creek might stick with them for a while. Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts just can't catch a break and has now endured five losses in a row.
Jackson Moore continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Sale Creek, scoring 20 points along with nine assists and two steals. Moore has been hot recently, having posted eight or more assists the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dallas Billingsley, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts bumped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sale Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts on the road again on Monday and play against Copper Basin at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Sale Creek, they will take on Collegedale Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Collegedale Academy has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 22.
