While Central Cabarrus's  win against Concord wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Spiders  4-3 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Vikings have posted  since March 13th.
 Taryn Jenkins made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned runs off   four  hits. Jenkins was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with one  home run.
 In other batting news,  Emma Salter was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  double. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Kinley Hood, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  double.
Central Cabarrus' record is now 13-9. As for Concord, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
As of now, neither Central Cabarrus nor the Spiders have any future games scheduled.
