Adding to the longest winning streak in AA District 2 this week, Greeneville beat West Greene 79-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Green Devils.
Grainger made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,522 from 8,578. The improvement was the result of a 55-27 victory over Cumberland Gap last week.
Cumberland Gap's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dakota Brock has thrown for 684 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Chase Smith has 15 catches for 223 yards. Brock also leads the league in rushing with 743 yards.
At the moment, the Buffaloes are in fourth, while Chuckey-Doak is in second.
