Brookville has gone a perfect 10-0 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bees will challenge the Minutemen at 7:30 p.m. Liberty took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Brookville, who comes in off a win.
If Brookville beats Liberty with 11 runs on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Bees walked away with an 11-6 victory over Rustburg on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bees.

Brookville let Grayson Surratt and Aiden Dowdy run wild. Surratt got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Dowdy went 1-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Surratt has become a key player for Brookville: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-5 otherwise. Kam McDaniel was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 13-5 to Glass.
Liberty saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Manning, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Andrew Spurlock also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Brookville now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
Liberty's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Brookville has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.6 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Liberty, though, as they've been averaging only 2.5 strikeouts. Will Brookville keep running through batters, or will the Minutemen buck the trend?
Brookville was able to grind out a solid win over Liberty in their previous matchup back in April, winning 9-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bees since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
