It was a good run, but the Jefferson Panthers unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 57-46 to Three Forks. If Jefferson hoped to take revenge for the 59-51 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dalton Noble, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Noble is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Stevens, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Three Forks, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will square off against East Helena at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Three Forks won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Ennis at 7:00 p.m. on January 20th. Ennis comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
