Chapin is 9-1 against White Knoll since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will square off against the Timberwolves at 6:30 p.m. Chapin is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
Chapin came out on top against Spring Valley on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Vikings. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.
Charlie Mejia tossed a big game, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Cambell Todd was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Harper, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
Chapin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, White Knoll didn't have quite enough to beat Gilbert on Tuesday and fell 5-3. That's two games in a row now that the Timberwolves have lost by exactly two runs.
Dillon Woods made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Logan Gadberry also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Chapin's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for White Knoll, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.
Everything went Chapin's way against White Knoll in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Chapin made off with a 12-2 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Timberwolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
