The Colonial Grenadiers waltzed into Friday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 55-26 victory over Bishop Moore on the road. For Colonial, this counts as revenge for the 52-50 loss Bishop Moore walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2022.
Jalei O'neal was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Raeanne Eccleston, who scored 10 points.
Bishop Moore's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Victoria Zaremba, who scored 10 points, and Megan Lamorte who scored 4 points along with 12 rebounds. Lamorte is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Colonial's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Bishop Moore, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Colonial will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Palm Bay at 4:30 p.m. on November 25th. As for Bishop Moore, they will take on Lake Mary at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.
