South Salem waltzed into their matchup  on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the West Salem Titans 3-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season,  with their most recent  win being a  3-0  victory  on October 2nd.
 While South Salem won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 26-24,  25-19.
  Leah Ioane was the offensive standout of the  match as she  had ten  digs and two  aces. That's the most  digs  she has posted since back in October of 2024.
South Salem's victory bumped their record up to 27-7-1. As for West Salem,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 12-12.
