Last Saturday, Legacy Christian Academy was beaten by Allen Academy 50-19. It was the first time this season that Legacy Christian Academy let down their fans at home.
Despite the loss, Legacy Christian Academy had strong showings from Garrett Davis, who rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and Prestin Simon, who rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns. Davis was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 69 yards.
Meanwhile, Westbury Christian pushed their score all the way to 38 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were dealt a 86-38 defeat at the hands of Covenant Christian. Westbury Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Legacy Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3, while Westbury Christian's bumped their own down to the opposite: 3-4.
