It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Holy Family had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the Evergreen Cougars 10-0. Considering the Tigers have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Holy Family got a great performance from Joshua Grenzenbach as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Grenzenbach has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Holy Family let Logan Seifarth and Eddie Hill run wild. Seifarth went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Hill got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. That home run was Hill's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
