Kimber Spence made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Ashleigh Johnson was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Taya Hall was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
